Jaw Deformities & Orthognathic Surgery

Correction of protruding jaw, small jaw, or crooked jaw due to abnormal jaw development since childhood must be treated beyond the cosmetic aspect. Occlusion of teeth used for chewing food should be taken into consideration; and highly thorough analysis on movement of the jaw (masticatory movement and phonation) and nerves and blood vessels passing inside the jaw must be accompanied depending on the stage of growth.
