Outpatient Nephrology Service is provided on the third floor of Building B and the artificial kidney room is on the fourth floor of Building A, treating patients with kidney diseases, high blood pressure, and other related diseases. The Department of Nephrology offers not only the treatment of various kidney diseases, electrolyte disturbance, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation, but also the total treatment of kidney disease to prevent incidence and aggravation of kidney diseases; also, there is a treatment space separately assigned for patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
The following diseases are diagnosed and treated at the Department of Nephrology.
1. Care for urinalysis abnormalities such as hematuria and proteinuria
2. Care for chronic kidney diseases such as glomerulonephritis and lupus nephritis
3. Care for water, electrolyte imbalance and acid-base imbalance disorders
4. Diagnosis and treatment of renal hypertension
5. Treatment of kidney diseases caused by diabetes and hypertension complications
6. Continued monitoring and treatment of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
7. Management and treatment of dialysis approach for hemodialysis patients
8. Treatment of patients with acute kidney injury
9. Treatment of hyperuricemia and gout kidney disease
10. Pre-transplantation care/counseling and ongoing treatment after transplantation in kidney transplant patients
