The Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery diagnoses and treats acquired adult diseases such as ischemic heart diseases (myocardial infarction, angina) and valvular disease, congenital heart diseases in children, lung diseases such as lung cancer and tuberculosis, and other diseases including esophageal disease, vascular disease and hyperhidrosis.
